The alert and keen eyed among you may have already noticed that the start of the second year of Innktober has already been announced. That’s right, what was last year optimistically referred to as a new annual server tradition has returned! And with prompt lists posted a whole month in advance! For those of you who didn’t notice: Innktober and Kinktober prompt lists have been posted in #fanworks as well as #nsfw-fanworks respectively, see the pins in both channels.
Hopefully the advance notice will provide artists plenty of time to plan and pace themselves as they consider undertaking any TWI themed projects.

Those of you who were members of the server last year might also remember there was something else we did to mark the month of October: a series of <Quests> posted on the #event-board, contests for creators to participate in for a chance at fabulous monetary rewards.
You may have been wondering if the contests and prizes would return.
I have an answer, and it is this: I’ve heard that @aliased has already been contacted ahead of time by several individuals who remembered last year’s festivities and hoped to kick things off again this year. Each of these early-birds brought her an idea of what they’d like to see created, as well as funds for one or more prizes awarded to the work that best meets their criteria.
Each of their ideas has become a <Quest>.
Each of these <Quests> will begin to populate the #event-board very soon.
Each <Quest> will take the form of contests. Some of these contests may be judged by the individual whose initial idea and funding created the <Quest>, some winners will be chosen by a panel of judges, and the outcome of some contests may even be decided by public reactions. But whether there will be more quests than those she has already been asked to run? Whether the prize pool will grow? I can’t say for certain.

I don’t know the answer, because the answer to that question is up to each of you!
How so you ask? It’s quite simple.
@aliased DM’s are open. For the next two weeks, if you have some money and a PayPal account, and you like one of the quests that’s been posted, or you have an idea of your own you’re hoping to see artists or writers bring to life (does not have to relate to Innktober prompts in any way if you do not wish it to,) you can slide into her DMs to work out the details of the <Quest> you’d like her to post up for you. Funds will be sent to and held by a member of paba’s staff.
After midnight on September 21st (EST), new quest idea submissions will close so that the [Contest Staffers] can finish finalizing all the details before October arrives. Last minute additional donations to existing quests prize pools will close on September 28th, also at midnight EST.
