As you may or may not know, I have been travelling these last few days. I flew off into the skies to sign bookplates in preparation for the book launch which is in four days. 

Four days. It is a surreal thing to think that this upcoming chapter (which I am working on and is slightly hard given a bit of jetlag) is going to be my last one before I’m, well, a traditionally published author.

I’m nervous for the launch. I hope you enjoy the books–some people have already found copies or seen them in bookstores, and if you nab one early, go post pictures so I can see them, please! I got a chance to hold one and sign a few, and it still feels like a dream.

But a good one. I signed as many bookplates as I could in preparation for the launch. It’s…actually quite slow. If you see videos on social medias, firstly, wearing gloves makes signing way harder, so they’re not the best signatures, but I have like a 5-stroke signature. Also I occasionally made some different with little stuff.

If I had a more economical signature, I could have done a lot more. For context, I worked from the moment I woke up till when I slept with only a dinner break and I got to…3,000 signatures. And that was like a 10+ hour day with a team helping me. I was very sore after that so signing was hard!

You do the math, I’m not good at it. But I hope if you want a bookplate you’ve signed up for the inncentives because this is the last call to get the pre-order rewards. To try to hit one or two more levels before the campaign ends, we’re moving the Klbkch and Relc bookmarks to the Level 8 rewards. And if we hit Level 10, we’ll release a DnD one-shot for The Wandering Inn! That’s on top of the bookplates and all the other rewards people are already getting.

I hope never to sign anything again actually–it was killer on my arms and shoulders. However, if you get one I hope it means something to you. It’s taken a long time to get the physical books readers have asked for, but at least I got them to you.
